Love, Justice, and Creation Care in a Time of Challenge

My original version of the following post appeared in the Climate Caretakers February 2017 monthly newsletter.  It appears here, with minor tweaks.  The challenges for creation care advocates continue to be intense and the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. continue to ring true.  As Christians we care for ourselves as we work for justice – whether in race relations or creation care – when we care for others.  In this all, it is  especially important that we love our enemies – those who act against those heartfelt concerns and efforts.
